What experience do I need to become a franchise owner with Just Cut It®?
No prior experience in the hair care industry is required to join the Just Cut It® franchise system – our opportunity is available to semi-absentee owners, investors, active owner-operators, and even stylists who want to own their own business! Regardless of your background or experience, we’ll provide you the tools, training, and support you need to help you open a hair salon franchise operate it with confidence.
What is provided as part of the Just Cut It® program?
We will provide a comprehensive pre-opening training program. Then, in conjunction with your salon opening, representatives of the Just Cut® franchise support team will spend time assisting you and your staff on-site at your location. In addition, we will present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help run the business properly on a day-to-day basis.
How much will the Just Cut It® program investment cost me?
The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from about $155,570 to $238,700 for a single salon. This includes a $25,000 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchisees, but we can refer you to financing sources on a case by case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross revenues. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product lines and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend a minimum of 4% of gross revenue each month on local marketing. Just Cut It franchisees will also to contribute up to 2% of gross revenues (currently 1%) into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Just Cut It brand and fund the creative costs to develop local marketing materials and campaigns.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is five years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
